super random.. but I decided it was worth posting about. Partially because I have nothing better to do here at work.

So I was bored, as usual, and decided to go to the … kitchen area, to get a cup of coffee. While I was in there, this little CUTIE asian boy waddles in and reaches for a styrafoam cup. He was too short so I decided to help him out and give him a cup, and I said “Hiiii” in my say-hello-to-a-baby-voice. I thought he was 3. He looks at me and he’s like “Thanks.” in like, the DEEPEST voice I’ve ever heard come out of a little itty bitty child. I was even surprised he could talk. That’s how young he looked. Scared the hell out of me.

On another note… I’ve found a good use for the iPad! Brought it to YMCA (which smells….. a LOT more than the lyon center…) and I watch TV episodes from it! But because the only free episodes are the first episodes to different tv shows, I’ve started on a lot of new tv series, including: the Big Bang theory, Chuck, 30 rock, and the Office. Even though Steve Carrell is no longer gonna be on it, yes, I FINALLY gave it another try. and i like it a lot more than the first time I tried watching it! I don’t like 30 Rock as much, but Chuck is okay and I might continue watching that, and the Big Bang theory is sooo funny! Definitely gonna continue it. I ran out of Korean Dramas to watch. If I could find another drama to get addicted to, and figure out a way to get those onto the iPad, I would be at the gym forever. I tried looking it up, and it says I can use Air Video, an app, to convert quicktime videos/divx videos to play on the iPad. Supposedly, it’s the “easier” way of doing it besides converting it to an iTunes file, but I’m so computer illiterate and technologically challenged that I can’t even figure THAT out. -_- SIGHS.

So, like I mentioned before, Samsung is incredibly Korean. Everrrrryone here is Korean, a lot of them are dispatchers who come here to work for a few years and then go back to Korea. I’m having a break right now because my supervisors are at a meeting, (not that it makes much of a difference in terms of what I’m doing..), so I decided to hit up mysoju.com. BUT IT’S BLOCKED!! LOL. Facebook, twitter, tumblr, youtube, hulu, ninjavideo, aren’t blocked, but mysoju is! That’s how KOREAN THIS PLACE IS!! I found that really funny. also, the two people i always eat lunch with (one is my korean supervisor, Young, and the other is a chinese lady, Vivian, who works in payroll) watch korean dramas also.:) Young went to some stanford event for a korean movie screening recently and she said that Kwon Sang Woo was there. her husband peed next to him in the bathroom. vivian and i were so jealous… and then this convo was super funny:

Vivian: Young, if you see Lee Byun Hun one day, I will die of jealousy.
Me: Oooh yeah he’s goodlooking too! But he’s kind of old..
Young: What? He’s not old, he’s pretty young, isn’t he?
Vivian: Wait, we have to remember we’re from different generations… different point of view…

so yeah,  it’s fun to talk to them about korean things. they also tell funny stories about their children a lot, who are my age.. (exactly my age). It’s kind of weird sometimes because they’d be laughing about what their kids say and they’re all like “hahhaa so cute and silly” and I’d laugh too but then I’m like, wait. they’re not little kids, they’re my age. uhhh.

yesterday was $1 jamba juice for some flavors. i had 2. it was delicious. everything tastes better when it’s cheap.. free food is the best.

Day 3… and I’m already dying of boredom.

Today at work, I have:

- tumbled twice. This is the third time

- tweeted 4x

- changed my twitter look

- browsed fb so many times i ran out of things to browse

- been on meebo for basically, the entire day. so. 8 hours. but had nobody to talk to :(

Things that I actually did FOR work are like… suuuuper boring! filed a ton, made lots of excel spreadsheets, hole-punched so much that my left palm has a permanent imprint from the holepuncher, and i finally finished going through a whole pile of resale certificates to update onto the computer and my eyes are soo dead right now. It’s 5:39. I get off at 6, that meanssss 21 more minutes!

I used to think I’m the cubicle type of person. It seemed cool to be able to have my own cubicle that I could decorate and whatever. and just sit in a cubicle all day. it seemed cozy in my head. NOT ANYMORE. i don’t ever want to work in a cubicle! so… tax or audit? audit for sure!!

I ate dukbolki for lunch today :) that makes it allll worth it. sort of.

I am pretty much loving it right now. Samsung’s building is really nice. I got my own cubicleee and I’m sitting here full from the cafeteria meal… guess what meal?! KOREAN. Bibimbap in my stomach-o. hurrah. Don Kat Su is scheduled on the menu for tomorrow. omnomnom. and then ja jiang myun the next day. omg i’m in heaven.

And obviously, I’m not really doing anything right now. Buttt I’m about to be trained so hopefully I will be somewhat busy.

man my stomach is about to EXPLODE. so much for losing weight this summer…

Today, I ate:

-one chocolate covered biscuit thing

- diddy reise cookie

- chocolate cookie

- macadamia nut cookie

- cheese cake ball covered with chocolate

- one bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream

- one bowl of mint chocolate chip AND coffee ice cream

- a bunch of limón flavored almonds

- a bunch of almond M&Ms

- a bunch of normal M&Ms

- a chocolate chip chewy bar

- a bowl of alfredo pasta (HEAVY in sauce..) with chicken and spinach

- 2 bowls of honey nut cheerios

- a banana

- a bowl of rice and tomatoes and eggs…

holy crap. no wonder my belly button is shrinking and my belly is expanding…. AHHHHH WTF. I NEED TO STOP!!

i hear christina singing “baby, baby” by justin bieber. catchy song, i must admit!

I HATE CHRISTINA!!!!!!!! she read this and says, “it’s ok, you’re happy.”

…. earlier on, she said, “did you know that fat people are happier?”

accounting is slowly but surely taking over my life.

but i love the free food that comes along with it :D

time to work on WSJ project. what’d i say, accounting is taking over my life. at least i’ll be out in the sun for awhile on the way there!
